UI template: Catfish

Preview

Catfish is a type of full-width ad that appears at the top or bottom of the browser window and remains on screen until the user closes it by clicking on the Сlose button.

Asset requirements

Image size, WxH, px

  • Width: common size is 1200 px; Container with a banner has a width of 100% of a browser window. The picture is centered in the container and not scaled. The empty space in the container can be filled with color that is set from the creative template. In order to make banner visible in user devices with a low screen resolution, we recommend to place important banner information in the center and fit it within 1000px width.
  • Height: 90-250 px (common size).

Required controls

  • Close button in the upper right hand corner is provided by the creative template.

Template Settings

The template settings are available in the UI.

Banner

For the main panel you upload a file of one of the types mentioned above.

Height

The banner height is set in pixels.

Banner Position

  • bottom

Background Color

The color is set as a hex color code.

Chrome will limit the resources a display ad can use before the user interacts with the ad by removing heavy creatives from the page. An ad is considered heavy if the user has not interacted with it (for example, has not tapped or clicked it) and it meets any of the following criteria:
– Uses the main thread for more than 60 seconds in total
– Uses the main thread for more than 15 seconds in any 30-second window
– Uses more than 4 megabytes of network bandwidth
