A type of digital video ads using Server-side Ad Insertion (SSAI) integrations. SSAI —also known as server-side ad stitching, and sometimes referred to as stream stitching, video pre-loading — is the process of using an intermediary server to dynamically insert advertisements into video streams on the server side, or to embed ads directly into video content before it is delivered to the viewer.

Event tracking

In SSAI, the video player may be unable to handle traditional ad tracking, and the ad-stitching service does not have access to the ad tags typically used in client-side tracking. As a result, the service must rely on alternative techniques to identify the devices on which ads are being viewed.
